- Dedicated, full time project management (vs. periodic, indirect “advice” from a consultant who is assigned to multiple projects)
- Implementation of a proven, reliable process – tailored to each community and organization (vs. “figuring it out as we go”)
- Substantial corporate resources, especially training, supervision, support, and knowledge management from our Operations department (vs. “boutique” firms and lone rangers with no oversight or quality control function)
- Skilled, trained, knowledgeable professionals with track records and relevant experience (vs. “rent-a-director”)
- In house economist to provide customized research, economic analysis, and return-on-investment data for our campaigns, our clients, and their investors (vs. unconvincing, subjective “begging/arm twisting” or outsourcing for boiler plate reports)
- Emphasis on a thorough, honest, and candid goal assessment process, even if it produces a recommendation to not proceed with a campaign (vs. firms whose own interests, i.e. revenue, trump the client’s best interests)
- Professionally planned and executed solicitations (vs. complete reliance on untrained – and often unwilling – volunteers to ask for money)
- Strategic implementation of campaign plans, communications, and solicitations (vs. hired gun salesmanship)
- Accountability for goal (vs. trying hard)
