Bob Saacke

Bob Saacke is in his nineteenth year as a project director for NCDS. Bob made an easy transition from real estate development and investment brokerage to economic development consulting and fundraising. Bob, a former Sullivan County Tennessee County Commissioner, chaired Sullivan County’s Industrial Development Committee. Bob is a past President of the Tennessee Association of Realtors, Inc., and was the first Tennessee Realtor certified to teach the Realtor Code of Ethics. He holds numerous awards and professional designations in residential, commercial, and investment real estate. Bob has served as president of state CCIM (Certified Commercial – Investment Members) chapters in Tennessee and Georgia.

An experienced community leader, Bob held leadership positions in the Bristol Tennessee – Virginia Chamber of Commerce and was president of the largest Lions Club in Virginia.

Bob has managed campaigns in Alabama, North Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia, Illinois, South Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Pennsylvania. Bob’s campaigns are consistently over goal, on time and under budget. Bob has raised $71 million for NCDS clients. He was senior director on a $7.5 million campaign for the Greater Dallas Chamber’s economic development initiative, successfully completed a $5 million regional campaign in the Tri-Cities of Tennessee, and raised in excess of $9 million for the Chattanooga, Tennessee Chamber of Commerce. Bob recently completed a $15 million capital campaign for the Greater St. Louis Area Council – Boy Scouts of America.

Bob is an Industrial Engineering graduate of Georgia Tech; and has completed Georgia Tech’s Economic Development course. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Piedmont Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and on AFP’s National Government Relations Committee. Bob resides in Greenville, South Carolina.
