
Dwight Crosby
Project Director
Dwight Crosby brings to his position as Project Director for NCDS over 25 years of experience in leadership, team building, and community involvement. Dwight’s most recent NCDS project was an aggressive campaign to fund the “Build a Better Future” plan for the Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce in Dandridge, TN. Prior to that, he conducted a successful renewal campaign for the Forward Sumner Economic Council in Hendersonville, TN.
Prior to joining NCDS, as a Project Manager and Plant Manager for a large international packaging company, Dwight was involved in the strategic planning, development and control of budgets, capital improvements, and the timely completion of both national and international projects.
He has been involved in Leadership Charleston with the Charleston, SC Chamber of Commerce and is a past president of the Dorchester County Manufacturers Association. He sat on the Board of Directors of the Dorchester County Salvation Army, the Greater Summerville / Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce, the Trident Educational Consortium and Workforce Development, and the Charleston Regional Development Alliance.
Dwight's volunteer involvement with charitable and community development organizations has enhanced his communication skills and enabled him to be a positive influence in both the personal and professional growth of people in his community. He received his MA in Human Resource Development, his MBA from Webster University, and his BA from the University of South Carolina.
Dwight lives in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina and enjoys travel and kayaking with his wife Bonnie. He also enjoys basketball and riding his motorcycle.
