
Tom Micelotta
Project Director
Tom Micelotta’s professional experience encompasses over a decade of resource development experience, management and community service. He has conducted feasibility studies and directed successful capital campaigns raising more than $60 million dollars for Chambers of Commerce, Boys & Girls Clubs, and community development and health organizations. From these experiences, Tom brings to TeamNCDS experience in multifaceted campaigns and the know-how to help clients achieve their goals.
His most recent work has involved a successful economic development finding campaign for the Greater Durham (NC) Chamber of Commerce. Previous economic development / chamber campaign successes include the following clients: Mooresville (NC) Chamber of Commerce, Albany (GA) Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) in Richmond, VA.
Prior to joining NCDS, Tom’s background included management positions with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, as well as national staff positions with the American Diabetes Association and Special Olympics Incorporated. His responsibilities included board development, marketing and campaign development.
Tom is also a board member of the First Coast YMCA and has volunteered in the Jaycees, Rotary, Junior Achievement and Knights of Columbus.
Tom attended St. Bonaventure University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Hamilton University. A native of New York, Tom resides in Jacksonville, Florida.
