From Argus Leader. How many advertisements can you remember seeing more than one year ago?

I struggle to recall any but one video.

It included the words, “Why die on Mars when you can live in South Dakota?”

It was the inaugural marketing piece of a campaign aimed at communicating the state’s livability to potential workers.

The idea was to tie South Dakota to so-called trending topics online in an effort to capture the attention of a demographic that’s increasingly hard to reach.  Click Here to read more.
