“There is so much pressure on local business executives to do fundraising, we had to provide a reasonable alternative. NCDS ProCall responds to that need, and we do it very, very well.”
Ask any corporate executive who has volunteered in one of Mike Seabolt’s NCDS fundraising campaigns to describe the experience and you will hear words like “focused,” “organized,” “on point” and “successful.” Busy executives have received outstanding fundraising strategy, direction and action from Mike in more than 75 NCDS campaigns since he joined the firm in 1993.
During that time, Mike has proven to many of America’s major community organizations and leaders that raising extraordinary amounts for their projects does not have to be a dreaded and draining civic chore. Mike spent 20 years on the “other side of the desk”—the check-writing side, before his career with NCDS. He was instrumental in organizing the charitable foundation of a Fortune 50 firm and often decided which non-profit organizations would receive funding. Guiding NCDS clients to be successful in the “art of the ask” is a primary strength of Mike’s.
Mike earned an Industrial Management degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1968 and his MBA from the University of Georgia in 1971. His career includes executive-level responsibilities for various operational departments at BellSouth Corporation and a five-year stint as an entrepreneur with his own service company. Mike brings both big business acumen and small business management savvy to NCDS clients.
He is an active leader in church affairs, serving as Trustee Chair, Finance Chair and in fundraising roles for 15 years. Married, with three boys, Mike enjoys sports of all kinds, particularly running and golf.
