Deborah Hoyt

Chief Financial Officer

Deb Hoyt has been working for NCDS and serving its clients since 1993. She directs the financial and administrative departments of the firm. With over 30 years of business management, human resource, accounting and financial analysis experience in various industries, she is especially adept at interacting with the finance officers of NCDS’ diverse range of clients.

Under Deb’s direction, NCDS initiated comprehensive accounting practices and created sophisticated cost control and financial analysis tracking systems. These have assured sound fiscal management during over a decade of aggressive growth that saw NCDS triple in size. Deb oversees the firm’s cash management, cost accounting, asset management, financial analysis, annual budget, and performance measures for all NCDS projects, as well as accounts payable/receivable and payroll.

Prior to joining the firm, Deb developed and managed accounting and business systems in the manufacturing, high-tech, healthcare and motion picture industries.

While attending film school in Southern California, Deb became interested in the business side of filmmaking while working for the CEO of a motion picture production and distribution company. Deb went on to expand her studies to include business finance and accounting. A fourth generation native Californian, Deb moved to Atlanta in 1991 and loves Atlanta’s diversity and unique topography. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, movies, politics, travel and serves on several boards in her community. She has a daughter, Kelly, who lives in Atlanta with her husband, Jason.

"There is nothing more rewarding than working for an organization that helps shape new and growing community based programs."

"On behalf of the officers and directors of the Economic Development Alliance, I want to thank you and your staff for the great job NCDS did in helping restructure the Alliance, and for successful management of the fundraising campaign that fully funded our five-year action plan. The NCDS process and format delivered exactly what you said it would do when you met with Alliance members over eighteen months ago. The NCDS process engaged top regional private and public sector leaders and attracted financial support from large and small companies and communities throughout the region."
