Deborah Hoyt

Chief Financial Officer

Deb Hoyt has been directing NCDS’s financial and administrative departments and serving its clients since 1993. With over 30 years of business management, human resource, accounting, and finance experience in various industries, she is especially adept at interacting with the finance officers of NCDS’s diverse range of clients.

Under Deb’s direction, NCDS initiated comprehensive accounting practices, creating sophisticated cost control tracking systems and performance measures, along with overseeing the firm’s cash management, cost accounting, budgets, and human resources.  Her leadership has contributed to the firm’s growth and longevity for almost 30 years.   Deb actively supports NCDS projects and clients through training and administration of campaign databases, compliance with state registration and bonding regulations, and access to historical data and materials.

Prior to joining the firm, Deb developed and managed accounting and business systems in the manufacturing, technology, healthcare, and film industries.  While attending film school, she became interested in the business side of filmmaking, which led her to expand her studies into business, finance, and accounting.

A fourth generation native Californian, Deb left her hometown of Los Angeles and moved to Atlanta in 1991.  She loves Atlanta’s diversity and abundant outdoor spaces.  In her spare time, Deb enjoys reading, movies, music, travel, and spending time with family and friends.  She has a daughter, Kelly, who lives in Atlanta with her husband and their daughter (Deb’s first grandchild!).
