Jackson County's JAC3 Program celebrates its 'pioneer' graduates

Jackson-area high school seniors had one week to decide if they wanted to participate in a three-year precision machining and welding program.
Only, they would have to complete it in two years. And, they would be the pioneers — the first students to ever go through such a program.
Six students were up for the challenge, and all are on to big things, as five now have full-time jobs in the industry and the other is using his job experience to further his education.
