Deborah Hoyt
Chief Financial Officer
Meet Deborah Hoyt, NCDS' Senior Consultant. She has over 25 years of experience in economic development and strategic planning.

Deb Hoyt has directed NCDS’ finance and administrative departments, along with serving its clients, since 1993. Having spent her career working in finance, accounting, human resources, and management in various industries, she is especially adept at interacting with NCDS’ diverse range of clients.

Under Deb’s direction, NCDS initiated comprehensive accounting practices, cost control systems and key performance measures.  These practices have assured the firm’s fiscal stability for over 30 years – through periods of growth, economic downturns, and the recent pandemic.

Deb is responsible for ensuring that NCDS is registered and compliant in every state that mandates bonding and licensing to do business and fundraising across the country. She also serves as administrator for NCDS’ proprietary database used in all our campaigns. She is the go-to person for all things related to our clients’ database needs.      

Prior to joining the firm, Deb developed and managed accounting and business systems in the manufacturing, technology, healthcare, and film industries.  While studying filmmaking in college, she became interested in the business side of production, which led her to expand her studies into business, finance, and accounting.

Originally from California, Deb left her hometown of Los Angeles and moved to Atlanta in 1991.  She loves Atlanta’s diversity and abundant outdoor spaces.  In her spare time, she enjoys movies, theater, the outdoors, spending time with friends, family, and her grandchildren.  She has a daughter who lives in Atlanta with her husband and their two children.
